Who are we?

We are mining engineers who live & work in the Hunter Valley. We want to support local mines by offering high-quality mine planning solutions. We are experienced in Open Cut mine planning, from design through to scheduling, to reconciliation and compliance. We believe our industry needs to keep improving to maintain our position as global leaders.

There will be fewer people doing technical work to keep our operations going, so the industry needs to rethink the work that’s done, how it’s done and by whom. We know that the Hunter Valley is the world’s finest coal basin. We want to provide a valuable service so our rates are lower than our competitors because we’re local, we don’t have high overheads, and we want to maintain long-term relationships.

What’s happening in our Industry?

Fewer people are joining technical mining professions as graduates and our industry’s more experienced practicioners continue to be promoted or retire. The result is that there are fewer people to do more work. Despite what the media will have us believe, our industry isn’t going away. Fundamental international demand for our products remains as strong as ever.

We are changing the way work’s done, improving planning systems, outcomes and compliance. We’re no nonsense. We must be a value proposition – our future depends on it. We’re not flying in from Brisbane or driving from Sydney; the Hunter is our home, our future and will always remain our focus.
